Statutory
protection:
You receive the protection afforded by the Societies Act as we are a registered
society.

the pros of ownership without the cons: you can use the Harbour
Queen as often as you like, schedule permitting; you will not be liable for any
debts or liabilities incurred by the Society; repair and maintenance will be
carried out at the expense of the Society, not you.

Less
sea-sickness:
You are less likely to suffer from sea-sickness as the mono-hull of the Harbour
Queen provides more stability and maintains a gentle rolling motion even in
adverse weather conditions.

Size
does matter:
The larger size of the Harbour Queen affords more security than normal wooden
boats; its aluminium structure is light yet strong, and it as excellent
flotation qualities due to compartmental void spaces.

By section 35 of the Societies Act (Cap. 311) members will not liable for any debts or liabilities the society may incur, and no court judgments against the
society may be enforced against the person or property of any member of the society.
Places are allocated on trips on a first come, first served basis.
